Group Photo at the conclusion of the 13th ICA-AP Regional Assembly.

The 2018 ICA-AP Regional Assembly (RA) was held at the IRIB International Convention Center in Tehran, Iran on November 29, 2018.   The RA was hosted by the Iran Chamber of Co-operatives (ICC) on behalf of the Iran Co-operative Movement.  The meeting of the RA was chaired by Mr. Li Chunsheng, President, ICA-AP and attended by 240 members and stakeholders from 17 countries.

The joint opening ceremony of the 13th Regional Assembly and 10th Co-operative Forum held on November 28 was attended by more than 500 cooperators.  The inaugural session was addressed by Mr. Bahman Abdollahi, President of ICC; Mr. Li Chunsheng, President of ICA-AP; Mr. Ariel Guarco, President of ICA (through video); Hon’ble Shariat Madari, Minister of Co-operatives, Labor and Social Welfare, Government of Iran; and Hon’ble Ali Larijani, Speaker of Iran Parliament.  Mr. Balasubramanian Iyer, Regional Director of ICA-AP proposed a vote of thanks.
