6th Meeting of ICA Regional Women’s Committee: 1st December-2008

5th ICA Regional Women’s Forum: 2nd December, Hanoi-2008


Dear Members,


This is to inform you that the 6th meeting of ICA Regional Women’s Committee

Will be held on 1st December-2008 at- Melia Hotel, Function-3 from 14-17 PM

and 5th ICA Regional Women’s Forum on 2nd December, 2008 in Melia Hotel, Ballroom-1 Hanoi, Vietnam from 9am to 5pm in conjunction with the ICA Regional Assembly and ICA Regional Cooperative Forum on 1-6 December, 2008.


The study visit will be organized for the participants of Women Committee on 3 December, 2008 from 9-14.00 pm to a Silk co-operative and Ha Dong silk traditional village.


While the meeting of Regional Women’s Committee will be attended by the members only and will deliberate on the prescribed agenda being sent to you in due course of time, the Forum is open for representatives and observers from the member organizations.


The theme of the Women’s Forum is “Advantage of gender integration in the economy

of co-operatives in Asia Pacific”. The tentative programme of the Women Forum is attached for your information.


We have already sent invitation to all ICAAP members by e-mail along with

the Registration Form.
