The Financial Literacy program is a youth-based program designed to run on the co-operative model through financial institutions in Nepal. The basic idea is to educate youth about how to save money for the future in a better way. The program directly helps the student and their parents to change their way of thinking, save in a better way, and to improve the living standards.  The saving of the students is collected by the Credit and Saving Cooperative and used to invest for development of their community. This helps serve the community, decrease unemployment rate and create investment opportunities for the future. The full report can be read here.
