ICA-AP hosted three students from the University of British Colombia (Vancouver, Canada) in December 2017 to work on various research streams as part of their Masters in Public Policy & Global Affairs programme. The students conducted research in the areas of Self Reliant Co-operatives (Ms. Lauren, Bangalore), Financial Co-operatives (Mr. Bo, Hyderabad), and Worker Co-operatives (Mr. Reagan, Kozhikode).

These streams were identified considering their relevance and importance in the context of co-operative development in India and strategic priorities of the ongoing ICA-EU research. The findings from the research are expected to contribute to our ongoing research on legal framework analysis and work & ownership in co-operatives.
