Organised by Co-operatives UK, the UK movement came together with their retail cooperatives to provide over £100,000 to support/ assist SEWA Cooperative Federation during the COVID-19 crisis.
The support allowed SEWA to provide essential basic supplies through their female networks, including masks and paracetamol, critical supplies including oxygen, and supporting Indian coops to restart their businesses after lockdown. Over the coming months, Co-operatives UK will be working with SEWA to ‘Build Back Together’ towards a more sustainable future for their co-operatives. To know more, click here.
